About

I’m Sarah, the founder of Three Graces

Born and raised in Surrey I now live in the picturesque village of Hartley Wintney with my husband and the other love of my life; the scatty lurcher we rescued from Battersea Dogs Home.  In my previous professional life I worked for the international auction house Sotheby’s before plunging headfirst into the world of wedding planning and an interesting fact about me is that I hold a Degree in Law and a Diploma in Litigation.  An unconventional background for a wedding planner perhaps but the negotiation skills and work ethic I developed whilst working in the legal profession prepared me well to represent the discerning bride’s interests when it comes to her wedding.

I’ve always been fascinated with fine-art, so in my twenties I opted to study with the Sotheby’s Institute of Art.  At the same time, I fell in love with the wedding industry whilst planning my own nuptials and by merging the two, Three Graces was born.  Having completed my professional training with The UK Academy of Wedding & Event Planning, I specialise in Wedding Planning, Styling & Design, enabling me to lend a more artistic design-led perspective to your big day in addition to the organisational aspects.  The safety and welfare of my clients is also a huge priority for me, which is why I’m fully insured and able to work across a variety of venues.

I adore all genres of wedding, however if I were to summarise my style I would say that my experience in the art world has left me with a soft spot for fine-art weddings and the moody, atmospheric vibe they offer.  I  also love a good London wedding of course!  I feel so lucky to work in a vibrant city that boasts such an eclectic mix of venues.  From private members clubs in Soho to warehouse weddings on London’s docklands, no two weddings in our beautiful capital city are ever the same and I feel so privileged to have the chance to work in some extremely cool places.

My work has been featured in Rock My Wedding, Style & The Bride, Rock n Roll Bride, Adored Bride, County Bride Magazine and Bride Magazine.

When I’m not busy planning weddings you can find me holed up in my garden workshop creating still-life inspired wedding favours, available to purchase via my Etsy store.
