Born and raised in Surrey I now live in the picturesque village of Hartley Wintney with my husband and the other love of my life; the scatty lurcher we rescued from Battersea Dogs Home. In my previous professional life I worked for the international auction house Sotheby’s before plunging headfirst into the world of wedding planning and an interesting fact about me is that I hold a Degree in Law and a Diploma in Litigation. An unconventional background for a wedding planner perhaps but the negotiation skills and work ethic I developed whilst working in the legal profession prepared me well to represent the discerning bride’s interests when it comes to her wedding.
I’ve always been fascinated with fine-art, so in my twenties I opted to study with the Sotheby’s Institute of Art. At the same time, I fell in love with the wedding industry whilst planning my own nuptials and by merging the two, Three Graces was born. Now enrolled with The UK Academy of Wedding & Event Planning I specialise in “Wedding Planning, Styling & Design”, enabling me to lend a more artistic design-led perspective to your big day in addition to the organisational aspects.
I adore all genres of wedding, however if I were to summarise my style I would say that my experience in the art world has left me with a soft spot for fine-art weddings and the moody, atmospheric vibe they offer. I am fully insured, professionally trained and my work has been featured in Rock My Wedding, Style & The Bride, Rock n Roll Bride and Bride Magazine.
When I’m not busy planning weddings you can find me holed up in my garden workshop creating still-life inspired wedding favours, available to purchase via my Etsy store.
Three Graces exists to create exceptional weddings for the style-conscious bride seeking something a little different from the norm.
